About the Role

We are partnering with an innovative healthcare organisation seeking a driven Product Specialist to join their growing team in Austria. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding access to critical therapies and building meaningful partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem.

In this position, you will take ownership of a defined territory, working closely with healthcare professionals, institutions, and key stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions that improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a strong, sustainable network across healthcare providers, institutions, and distribution channels
  • Develop long-term partnerships while identifying and engaging new stakeholders
  • Execute territory strategies aligned with business objectives and customer needs
  • Deliver high-quality promotional activities and approved educational materials
  • Plan, organise, and run events independently (both local and regional)
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to shape strategic decisions
  • Represent the organisation at regional and national industry events
  • Drive territory development plans and identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with hospital stakeholders to support product access and listing processes
  • Manage and develop relationships with key public and private accounts
  • Analyse sales performance and effectiveness metrics to optimise results

Your Profile

  • Degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong understanding of the Austrian healthcare system and pharmaceutical market
  • Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales within Austria
  • Established network of healthcare professionals within your territory
  • Experience working within complex clinical treatment settings
  • Background in specialised therapy areas (e.g. central nervous system or acute care) is highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership
  • Fluent German and good command of English
