About the Role
We are partnering with an innovative healthcare organisation seeking a driven Product Specialist to join their growing team in Austria. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding access to critical therapies and building meaningful partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem.
In this position, you will take ownership of a defined territory, working closely with healthcare professionals, institutions, and key stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions that improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a strong, sustainable network across healthcare providers, institutions, and distribution channels
- Develop long-term partnerships while identifying and engaging new stakeholders
- Execute territory strategies aligned with business objectives and customer needs
- Deliver high-quality promotional activities and approved educational materials
- Plan, organise, and run events independently (both local and regional)
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to shape strategic decisions
- Represent the organisation at regional and national industry events
- Drive territory development plans and identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with hospital stakeholders to support product access and listing processes
- Manage and develop relationships with key public and private accounts
- Analyse sales performance and effectiveness metrics to optimise results
Your Profile
- Degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of the Austrian healthcare system and pharmaceutical market
- Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales within Austria
- Established network of healthcare professionals within your territory
- Experience working within complex clinical treatment settings
- Background in specialised therapy areas (e.g. central nervous system or acute care) is highly advantageous
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Fluent German and good command of English
