Compensation: $280,000-$315,000 base + 25% bonus + 25% LTI
Company Summary
We're supporting a global biopharmaceutical company with a well‑established and strategically important respiratory franchise. The organization is at a scale that supports global development and regulatory execution, while still offering senior clinical leaders meaningful ownership and influence at the program level. This role provides end‑to‑end responsibility for a global clinical development program with the opportunity to shape strategy, regulatory engagement, and key development decisions. You'll work closely with experienced clinical leadership in a fully remote capacity, and the position is well suited for a physician ready to operate at a senior level with accountability for program direction and cross‑functional leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive the overall clinical development strategy for respiratory programs, ensuring scientific rigor, operational excellence, and alignment with regulatory and business priorities.
- Serve as the clinical voice on global program teams, shaping key decisions and development pathways.
- Build and execute integrated clinical development plans across early‑ through late‑stage trials, with a global perspective.
- Oversee the medical and scientific aspects of study design, execution, and interpretation across the clinical lifecycle.
- Provide clinical and disease‑area leadership to cross‑functional partners, strengthening internal understanding of the therapeutic landscape.
- Act as a clinical representative in interactions with health authorities, internal governance bodies, and external collaborators.
- Partner with external experts, investigators, and advisors to interpret data and translate findings into informed program decisions.
- Guide regulatory engagement strategies and ensure development plans align with global requirements and expectations.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement in trial design and execution to enhance patient relevance and program efficiency.
Ideal Qualifications
- MD with U.S. board certification or board eligibility
- Background in pulmonary or respiratory medicine or trials
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech clinical development
