Media Lead
I'm sourcing for a Media Lead to drive paid and social media strategy across digital channels. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution! Ideal for someone with a healthcare communications and digital marketing background!
You'll work with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-impact media programs for clients in Life Sciences, Public Health, Health Tech, and Government sectors.
This is a client-facing, hybrid role based in Boston, DC, or NYC (2 days in-office, 3 remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of paid and social media strategies across digital channels including search, social, display, programmatic, and native.
- Establish and refine internal processes for social media planning and execution.
- Oversee content strategy, creation, and scheduling across social platforms.
- Manage media planning, buying, and optimization to meet KPIs and compliance standards.
- Supervise a small team, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated omnichannel campaigns.
- Oversee media budgeting, forecasting, and performance benchmarking.
- Drive paid content distribution strategies aligned with audience behavior and regulatory standards.
- Stay current on media trends, especially in regulated industries, and bring innovative ideas to client programs.
- Analyze campaign performance and partner with analysts to optimize results.
- Present media plans, insights, and recommendations directly to clients.
- Ensure all campaigns comply with healthcare advertising regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in paid media, preferably in an agency or in-house role.
- Deep knowledge of paid search, social, programmatic, native, and display advertising.
- Proficiency with platforms like Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter/X Ads, and DSPs.
- Experience integrating media into broader omnichannel strategies.
- Strong background in pharmaceutical marketing; additional healthcare experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with paid content distribution and sponsored partnerships.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory standards.
