Hiring: Manager, Clinical Contracts & Budgets - Global Medical Device Leader

EPM Scientific is proud to be partnering with a global Medical Device company seeking an experienced Manager of Clinical Contracts and Budgets to lead and support their International Clinical Team. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the negotiation and execution of clinical site agreements and budgets across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Clinical Contracts and Budget Specialists.
• Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and finalisation of site agreements and budgets in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with global budget parameters and streamline negotiation processes.
• Act as the primary liaison with legal and compliance teams to resolve contract-related issues and ensure timely execution.
• Drive communication strategies and escalation pathways to support efficient site activation and study start-up time lines.
• Monitor and report on contract turnaround times, identifying areas for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical contracts and budget management within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams or projects in a clinical operations or legal/contracts environment.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, site activation requirements, and regulatory considerations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel as required to support international teams and study sites.
