Key Account Manager

Our client, a leading provider of IVD & Life Science Tools components/solutions, is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to cover the Northeast region and the broader East Coast. This role offers the opportunity to strategically manage and expand large enterprise accounts, ensuring growth and long-term partnerships.

What We're Looking For:

  • Field Sales Expertise: Proven success in managing and growing enterprise-level accounts in a competitive market.
  • Industry Experience: 5+ years in sales within the IVD or life science tools instrument sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of techniques such as PCR, proteomics, NGS, cytometry, synthetic biology, spatial biology, immunoassay analysis or clinical diagnostics.
  • Complex Selling: Experience selling complex and high-value products & solutions, demonstrating an ability to align solutions with customer needs. Candidates should be accustom to managing a protracted sales cycle (12 - 18months) and high value contracts ($500k - $5M).
  • Strategic Relationship Building: A track record of developing meaningful client connections to drive business results.
  • Located in Northeast: Candidates should ideally be located in the Northeast US (MA, NY, NJ, CT, PA, etc.) and should be willing to travel across the east coast (~50%).
  • Education: BS/BA in life sciences or engineering discipline is required. Advanced degree is preferred (MS, MBA, PhD, etc.)
