Account Manager - Infectious Disease (Nebraska & Iowa)
Our client, a leader in the Life Sciences Diagnostics sector, is seeking an Account Manager in the Central Plains (Nebraska & Iowa) territory. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth and managing accounts across diagnostic solutions within hospitals, labs, clinics, and point‑of‑care settings.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow key accounts through strategic planning, contract negotiation, and execution of sales initiatives.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships; conduct business reviews and resolve issues to support retention and satisfaction.
Use sales analytics tools (SFDC, PowerBI, Microsoft platforms) to forecast, track performance, and drive data‑based decisions.
Lead product adoption, implementation, and utilization expansion across diagnostic platforms.
Collaborate with internal teams and distribution partners to support sales performance, training, and competitive positioning.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of successful medical sales experience, preferably in diagnostics.
- Strong understanding of lab workflows, point‑of‑care settings, and health system operations.
- Ability to analyze healthcare market data and apply financial acumen in selling scenarios.
- Willingness to travel up to ~35% with regular field presence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in business, healthcare, or life sciences.
- Experience working with distributor partners.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with complex contracting.
- Demonstrated success in consultative, complex sales environments with multi‑level stakeholders.
