Freelance Supply Planner
We are partnering with a leading, global Medical Device client of ours here at EPM Scientific who are actively looking for a Freelance Supply Planner to join their organisation on a long term assignment in California.
Location: Southern California (Hybrid - 3/4 days onsite)
Duration: 12 month contract

Role Overview:
The Supply Planner will manage end-to-end planning activities to ensure product availability across the organisation's distribution network. This role supports demand and supply alignment, inventory optimisation, and execution of S&OP processes for the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts and inventory targets.
- Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans to minimise stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Support new product introductions and lifecycle transitions.
- Analyse supply chain KPIs and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Strong grounding in the Supply Chain space.
- 3+ years of experience in supply planning within medical devices or similar regulated industry.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems; advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
