Director, Global RWE & Outcomes Research

Location: USA - Remote

EPM Scientific is partnered with a leading pharmaceutical company seeking a Director of Global Real-World Evidence and Outcomes Research to join its growing global team. In this role, the Director will collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders to lead integrated evidence‑generation planning and oversee end‑to‑end research execution to support strategic medical, clinical, commercial, and regulatory objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and cross‑functional alignment of integrated evidence‑generation plans for pipeline and post‑launch assets across multiple therapeutic areas
• Design and execute retrospective and prospective observational studies (e.g., natural history, burden‑of‑illness, incidence/prevalence) and comparative evidence research (e.g., CER, ITCs)
• Lead systematic literature reviews and meta‑analyses to inform internal decisions and support regulatory and HTA submissions
• Partner with clinical and medical teams to integrate and validate PROs in clinical studies and develop external control arms
• Oversee analysis and dissemination of research via publications, advisory meetings, and congress presentations
• Manage selection and use of external vendors and real‑world data sources (e.g., EHR, claims, registries)

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (PhD strongly preferred) in epidemiology, public health, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in RWE/HEOR positions within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
• Demonstrated expertise in outcomes research study design, execution, and delivery
• Ability to travel nationally/internationally as needed (up to 25%)

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $200K - $235K
• 20% annual cash bonus and 20% stock-based LTI
• Fully remote (preference for EST/CST-based candidates)
