Location: U.S. East Coast (Remote/Hybrid)
EPM Scientific is partnered with a rapidly growing, commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company to hire a Senior Director, Field HEOR covering the Eastern United States. This is an opportunity to drive patient access and improve health outcomes through the generation and communication of RWE and HEOR research to population health decision makers. Our client is seeking experienced Field HEOR experts with a proven track record of building effective relationships with payers, IDNs, and researchers, as well as demonstrated acumen in real-world evidence generation and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Build credible scientific relationships with national and regional payers, IDNs, PBMs, health systems, specialty pharmacies, HEOR opinion leaders, and academic researchers
- Contribute to the design and execution of HEOR/RWE initiatives, including observational studies, PROs/COAs, comparative effectiveness studies, economic modeling
- Communicate HEOR evidence and value propositions to inform formulary and population health decision-making
- Represent the company at national and international conferences, HEOR forums, and professional associations
- Partner with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and impactful value communication
- Travel up to 60-75% for client interactions and other on-site engagements
Required Qualifications:
- PhD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or a related scientific discipline
- 12+ years of HEOR experience, including field-based roles and strategic leadership positions
- Proven track record of engagement with payers, IDNs, and other population health decision makers
- Demonstrated understanding of RWE study design and analysis
- Self-starter who operates effectively with a high degree of autonomy
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary of $270,000 - $330,000 based on candidates' experience and qualifications
