Director, Commercial Optimization & Field Enablement

Location: Philadelphia, PA (3 days on-site required)

EPM Scientific is partnered with a rapidly growing, Commercial-Stage Biopharmaceutical company to hire a Director, Commercial Optimization & Field Enablement. Our client is seeking a strategic and operational expert to lead their field team resource optimization. This opportunity is pivotal in shaping how the organization supports and scales field-based commercial efforts, ensuring alignment with business priorities and delivering tools + insights that drive performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage field team allocation and territory alignment strategies
  • Build and maintain tools and dashboards to support field execution and stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure operational readiness and alignment of field tools with evolving commercial strategies
  • Lead training and communication for field operations initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 12+ years in pharma/biotech commercial roles
  • Previous consulting experience AND current industry experience in a field ops/sales ops role (preferred)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce)
  • Specialty Brand experience - endocrinology, cardiovascular, oncology, or rare disease preferred
