Department Manager / Production Manager

Overview:
A Department Manager to lead our production team in achieving key performance goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity. This role involves developing and nurturing the team in alignment with our core values: Applying Insight, Winning as a Team, Being Result-Oriented, and Establishing Trust.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage two Shift Leaders and approximately 45 employees in the production of 2D/3D biocontainers.
• Policy Management: Develop and manage policies actively.
• Process Optimization: Optimize production processes for efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in international Kaizen events, further develop your skills, and handle a diverse range of tasks.

Requirements:

• Education: HBO level of working and thinking.
• Skills: Proactive, enthusiastic self-starter who is stress-resistant and decisive.
• Languages: Proficient in Dutch and English.
• Experience: Proven experience in people management and coaching within a production environment, including managing multicultural teams.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping and Visual/Daily Management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
