Consultant Biostatistician

EPM Scientific are currently partnered with a small Consultancy which is urgently seeking a Contract Biostatistician to support an ongoing project. See a short summary below:

Contract Conditions:

• Start date: June
• Location: Remote, Europe
• Contract Type: Freelance / Consultant - Partial FTE, 3 Month Contract
• Language: English
• Project: Oncology Meta-Analysis (Lung Cancer)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute statistical analysis for a meta-analysis within a Lung Cancer study.
• Perform advanced biostatistical analyses across multiple clinical datasets to support pooled data evaluation.
• Interpret and validate results to ensure high accuracy and scientific robustness.
• Collaborate with clinical and research teams to align statistical outputs with study objectives.
• Ensure all analyses meet regulatory and scientific standards, including potential HTA requirements.
• Provide clear and concise statistical reporting to support clinical and strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related field.
• Extensive experience in biostatistical analysis within clinical research, ideally at a senior level.
• Strong Oncology experience is mandatory.
• Proven experience conducting or supporting meta-analyses.
• Experience working with or understanding Health Technology Assessment (HTA) processes is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in statistical outputs.
