About the Role
IVUS Clinical Specialist - Northern Germany (m/w/d)
This role is ideal for a clinically experienced professional passionate about supporting physicians and cath lab teams in delivering optimal patient outcomes. As an IVUS Clinical Specialist, you will provide expert guidance during procedures, lead training initiatives, and collaborate closely with the sales team to drive adoption of cutting-edge intravascular imaging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support & Case Coverage
- Provide on-site support during intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) procedures, ensuring safe and effective device utilization.
- Act as a trusted clinical advisor to physicians and cath lab staff, offering troubleshooting and best-practice guidance.
Training & Education
- Conduct product training sessions, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations for physicians, nurses, and operating room personnel.
- Organize educational events and seminars to enhance clinical proficiency and awareness of IVUS technology.
Customer Engagement & Market Development
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals across your territory, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new opportunities and support product positioning strategies.
Event Participation & Networking
- Represent the company at congresses, symposia, and scientific meetings to expand your network and promote innovative therapies.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Gather insights on competitor activities, market trends, and therapy developments to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accurate documentation of clinical activities.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in medicine, nursing, biomedical engineering, or a related technical/scientific field.
- Strong clinical background in interventional cardiology or cath lab environments is highly desirable.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to manage documentation effectively.
- High level of flexibility and willingness to travel extensively across Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Berlin, Brandenburg, Niedersachsen, Schleswig-Holstein, and Hamburg.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the medical device industry, ideally in clinical support or technical roles.
- Hands-on experience with intravascular imaging technologies or interventional cardiology procedures.
