Business Manager
The Business Manager will lead and coordinate commercial and strategic initiatives across Poland and nearby markets. The role focuses on driving regional growth, supporting product strategy, and ensuring regulatory compliance within the oncology diagnostics and precision medicine sectors. This position requires strong industry knowledge, commercial leadership, and the ability to work cross‑functionally in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute regional business strategies, including market expansion and revenue plans.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive landscape, customer needs, and regulatory changes to guide strategic decisions.
  • Commercial Leadership: Drive sales and marketing execution; monitor performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Manage product life cycle, launches, discontinuations, and optimisation of the regional portfolio.
  • Regulatory & Quality: Ensure all activities align with relevant local and global regulations and quality standards.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination: Work closely with R&D, QA, supply chain, regulatory, and finance to ensure operational alignment.
  • Risk & Compliance: Identify commercial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Distributor Management: Develop and manage distributor relationships to strengthen market presence and sales execution.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on performance, risks, and strategic progress.

Candidate Profile

  • Fluency in English and Polish.
  • Based in Poland, with existing right to work (no visa sponsorship).
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, oncology diagnostics, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years' experience in oncology diagnostics, precision medicine or Next gen sequencing (NGS). With proven commercial or business management leadership.
  • Strong understanding of pharma/diagnostics regulations, especially CDx frameworks.
  • Excellent strategic, analytical, and communication skills; comfortable in fast‑moving environments.
  • Experience with data analysis tools, Excel, and industry‑specific software.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
