Global President - Preclinical Services
A leading global CRO is seeking a Global President - Preclinical Services to lead and scale its international preclinical business. This is a P&L leadership role responsible for defining and executing global strategy, driving commercial growth, overseeing operations, and positioning the organisation as a partner of choice for end-to-end preclinical development.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Leadership & Strategy: Define and execute the global vision and strategy for the Preclinical Services division, Own full P&L responsibility, ensuring profitable growth and operational excellence.
- Commercial Growth & Market Expansion: Drive global revenue growth and lead the organisation's approach to large, strategic outsourcing deals and partnerships. Expand market share across biotech, mid-cap pharma, and top 20 pharma clients
- Operational Oversight: Ensure seamless delivery across global preclinical operations (North America, Europe). Align scientific, operational, and commercial teams to deliver high-quality outcome, drive efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement across sites and service line.
Strategic Partnerships & Client Engagement: Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key global pharma and biotech organisation, Act as senior sponsor on strategic accounts and major deals.
About you
- 15-20+ years' experience in CRO/CDMO or pharmaceutical services organisations
- Significant leadership experience with P&L ownership (division or business unit level)
- Deep understanding of preclinical development and Discovery services
- Proven track record of driving global growth and scaling operations
- Experience leading multi-regional teams and complex organisations
- Strong background in strategic deal-making and enterprise-level partnerships
- Visionary, commercially driven leader with strong executive presence who is able to operate at both strategic and operational levels
