Business Development Manager - Neuromodulation (Chronic Pain)

Location: Based near Nuremberg, covering Munich through to Dresden
Territory: Bavaria & Eastern Germany (field-based role)

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will take full ownership of your territory, driving commercial growth while acting as a trusted clinical partner to healthcare professionals. This is a hands-on, field‑based role requiring significant time on the road, engaging with customers across hospitals and pain centres.

You will balance a strong hunter, sales-driven mindset with the ability to "put on your clinical hat" , supporting therapy optimisation and engaging directly with patients and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development and account growth across neurosurgery and pain management centres
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with:
    • Neurosurgeons
    • Pain physicians / anaesthetists
    • Allied healthcare professionals and clinical teams
  • Actively promote neuromodulation solutions, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Deliver product training, in‑service education, and therapy workshops
  • Provide clinical support in theatre and clinic settings, including:
    • Patient engagement
    • Device troubleshooting
    • Programming and re‑programming support
  • Partner with clinicians to optimise patient outcomes and pathway adoption
  • Manage territory planning, forecasting, CRM activity, and pipeline development
  • Represent the company at regional congresses, conferences, and customer events

Ideal Background

  • Proven medical device sales experience, ideally within:
    • Neuroscience
    • Neuromodulation
    • Pain management
    • OR / surgical environments
  • Experience calling on surgeons and specialist physicians
  • Comfortable being on the road, managing a large geographic territory
  • Confident, credible communicator with both commercial and clinical stakeholders
