Bio Process Engineer

We are currently supporting a global Bio-Pharmaceutical company in their search for an experienced Bio-Process Engineer to join their team in Switzerland. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of technically challenging projects in a dynamic and innovative environment.

As a Bio-process Engineer you will be responsible for the correct execution of production campaigns according to cGMP guidelines.

Key Responsibility:

  • This includes creating and reviewing risk analyses and implementing the resulting measures.
  • You will ensure batch execution, evaluate test results, troubleshoot problems, and resolve malfunctions in production equipment, as well as provide solutions.
  • You will maintain complete documentation of processes and process know-how, including full GMP documentation.
  • You will continuously improve processes, equipment, and procedures in collaboration with various project teams, such as R&D, to increase process efficiency and the economical use of equipment.
  • You will be responsible for training employees on assigned products (campaign training) and share responsibility for employee training on cross-project topics and in daily operations.

Key Requirement:

  • You hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree (University/University of Applied Sciences) in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnological production, preferably in operations
  • Language: English Fluent & German Advantageous
  • Understanding of GMP
  • Strong teamwork and leadership qualities, as well as excellent communication skills, are among your strengths.
  • You are characterised by cross-functional, structured, and focused work
  • You are well-organised and open to new ideas and suggestions
  • Experience in operations and knowledge of TrackWise are advantageous
