The role offers a unique opportunity to engage in both scientific and commercial activities, supporting the licensing and commercialization of advanced antibody-based assets across various therapeutic fields. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of business development and licensing, contributing to strategic growth and identifying new partnership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish external business opportunities for out-licensing, co-development, and other structured collaborations
  • Develop and present business cases for prioritized external opportunities, including analyses, assumptions, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Independently initiate, evaluate, and present partnership opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional due diligence and alliance management, coordinating with internal teams such as R&D, CMC, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, and Finance
  • Oversee business development transactions, including proposals, term sheet development, negotiations, deal execution, and ongoing alliance management
  • Contribute to shaping and refining business development and licensing strategy aligned with corporate and portfolio goals
  • Represent the organization at industry, investor, and partnering conferences, building and maintaining relationships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology stakeholders

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in pharmacology, immunology, cancer biology, or a related biomedical science field
  • Strong experience in antibody drug discovery, including target validation and hit-to-lead optimization
  • Ability to interpret complex biological data (e.g., affinity, specificity, in-vivo efficacy) and translate findings into compelling scientific and commercial narratives
  • Familiarity with antibody modalities such as monoclonal antibodies, bi-specific antibodies, and antibody-drug conjugates
  • Strong strategic thinking skills to align internal scientific capabilities with external partnership opportunities
  • Must be a premanent resident
  • Mandarin and English bilingual
