Associate Director/Senior Director Clinical Development

My client is a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to discovering and developing new treatments for various diseases. They are currently seeking a Clinical Development Director/Senior Director to oversee the end-to-end management of their clinical programs.

This position will be based in China.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical insights and leadership for clinical projects, ensuring they are executed effectively.
• Oversee clinical trials to ensure the generation of high-quality data and adherence to protocols.
• Formulate strategies for clinical trials and regulatory documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Work closely with internal teams, including clinical pharmacology, regulatory affairs, and clinical operations, to execute programs and trials.
• Support and lead the creation of important documents such as clinical study reports, study protocols, and final study result manuscripts.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent medical degree is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in drug clinical trials, with a strong understanding of GCP, clinical trial design, statistics, and regulatory and clinical development processes.
• Proven leadership capability with a track record of managing clinical projects and teams.
• Strong communicator with experience in collaborating with different stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Bilingual Proficiency
• Fluency in both oral and written English is required
