We're excited to partner with a rapidly expanding organization in the food safety sector on the search for an Account Manager. This role has been created due to an increasing demand for innovative decontamination solutions across the food industry.

About the Role

The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth by developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and serving as a key industry-facing representative. You'll be the go-to expert for clients across the food processing ecosystem-guiding them through equipment, services, and best‑in‑class decontamination solutions.

This is a highly visible role with a strong blend of relationship-building, territory ownership, and strategic sales planning.


What You'll Do

  • Grow market presence within the food safety and food processing sectors.
  • Build strong relationships with end users, operators, supervisors, directors, and procurement teams.
  • Cultivate partnerships with microbiology labs, food safety consultants, and sanitation service providers.
  • Develop and execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales strategies.
  • Manage both new business development and existing account retention.
  • Conduct a minimum of 10 weekly client interactions (new + existing).
  • Deliver presentations, demos, and product trainings.
  • Attend relevant industry events and conferences nationwide.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, proposals, and CRM updates.
  • Ensure quality, safety, and compliance in all activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Based in the United States with the ability to travel ~50% overnight.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least 2 years of sales management or territory sales experience in a service-related field.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint).
  • Ability to independently build and execute a territory plan.
  • Excellent relationship‑building, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong professionalism, time management, and commitment to follow‑through.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
