EPM Scientific are currently partnered with an international healthcare company focused on innovative wound care, skin health, and medical technologies. They are seeking a Medical Affairs Director to lead the global medical and clinical strategy across an expanding product portfolio and pipeline. This position will play a critical role in aligning clinical evidence generation, regulatory requirements, and commercial objectives to support continued international growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead the global medical and clinical evidence generation strategy across marketed products and pipeline assets.
Define clinical development and evidence-generation roadmaps to support regulatory submissions, lifecycle management, market access, and commercial objectives.
Provide strategic oversight of clinical investigations, PMCF activities, real-world evidence programs, and broader clinical research initiatives.
Act as the senior medical expert supporting Regulatory Affairs, Quality, R&D, Market Access, and Commercial teams.
Lead and develop Medical Affairs and Clinical Affairs teams, ensuring successful execution of clinical programs and scientific engagement activities.
Build relationships with key opinion leaders, scientific experts, medical societies, and external stakeholders globally.
Translate clinical and scientific data into actionable insights that support product positioning, differentiation, and business growth.
Partner cross-functionally to ensure evidence-generation plans support reimbursement, HEOR, and market access requirements.

Requirements

Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent).
10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Clinical Development, or Medical Strategy within medical devices, pharma, biotech, or healthcare.
Strong experience in wound care, dermatology, skin health, medical devices, or related therapeutic areas.
Deep expertise in clinical evidence generation, PMCF, clinical investigations, and regulatory support.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams within an international environment.
Experience supporting regulatory submissions and product lifecycle management.
Strong track record engaging with KOLs, healthcare professionals, medical societies, and external stakeholders.
Commercial acumen with the ability to align medical and clinical strategy to business objectives.
Previous people management and leadership experience.
Experience within a growing SME or entrepreneurial healthcare environment is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic leadership skills.
