Our Client, a global leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner

Tasks

  • Partner with business leaders to provide strategic HR guidance on workforce planning, talent development, performance management, and organizational transformation
  • Ensure compliance with German labor law and regulatory requirements, offering expert advice on employment-related matters
  • Oversee all aspects of employee relations, including disciplinary actions, contract changes, and terminations, in collaboration with legal and compliance teams
  • Foster a constructive relationship with the works council, actively participating in negotiations, consultations, and hearings in accordance with the Works Constitution Act (BetrVG)
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring and change management processes
  • Develop and implement HR policies and programs that align with local legislation and global HR standards
  • Drive the execution of core HR processes such as performance reviews, compensation cycles, and talent development initiatives
  • Leverage HR data and key metrics to inform strategic decisions and enhance operational effectiveness
  • Coach and advise leaders on people management, team dynamics, and leadership development
  • Collaborate closely with HR specialist teams, including recruitment, compensation & benefits, and learning & development, to deliver integrated HR solutions

Profile

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar generalist HR role, ideally in a matrix or international environment
  • In-depth knowledge of German labor law and proven experience in working with a works council (Betriebsrat)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capability
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential matters
  • Fluent in German (C1+) and English (B2+) - both written and spoken
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with HRIS systems (e.g. Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) is a plus
