Sales Engineer

Location: Leuven / Hasselt / Limburg (Belgium) + Walloon Region Coverage
Sector: Industrial Manufacturing / Metal Cutting

Overview

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to manage and develop a key territory across Leuven, Hasselt, and Limburg, while also taking responsibility for expanding business within the Walloon region. This is a consultative sales role focused on driving growth across both existing accounts and new customers within the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow small to mid-sized customer accounts within the assigned territory
  • Develop new business opportunities while strengthening existing relationships
  • Assess and anticipate customer needs, aligning them with tailored product and service solutions
  • Proactively pursue sales leads and conduct regular customer visits (existing + prospective)
  • Handle technical enquiries, propose solutions, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms
  • Close sales orders to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Collect and share market intelligence with internal teams (sales & product management)
  • Build and execute structured sales plans (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to drive performance

Requirements

  • Experience in technical/B2B sales (metal cutting tools or industrial products preferred)
  • Strong ability to deliver consultative, solution-based sales
  • Commercial mindset with a track record of territory growth and revenue delivery
  • Ability to manage customer relationships and complex enquiries autonomously
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with a good level of English
