Personal Care Sales Manager

Location: France (Remote or Office-based)
Reports to: Regional Sales Director


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Personal Care Sales Manager to lead and grow our business within the French market. This role focuses on driving sales of specialty chemicals and ingredients for personal care applications, building strong relationships with key customers, and developing strategic partnerships to achieve revenue and growth targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development

    • Develop and execute a sales strategy for personal care customers in France.
    • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within the region.
    • Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Market & Product Expertise

    • Maintain deep knowledge of personal care trends, formulations, and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to provide product recommendations and solutions to customers.
  • Forecasting & Reporting

    • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for management.
    • Monitor market dynamics and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with marketing, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
    • Support product launches and promotional activities in the region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in the personal care chemicals industry.
  • Strong understanding of cosmetic formulations and ingredient functionality.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.
  • Ability to travel within France and occasionally internationally.
