HR Generalist Netherlands

Top Medtech organisation is seeking a HR Generalist to support its expanding team in the Limburg region. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional to gain broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle within a highly regulated, innovative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR support across the Netherlands, partnering with employees and managers on HR-related queries
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract administration, and offboarding processes
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with Dutch labour law and internal policies
  • Assist with recruitment coordination, including scheduling interviews and supporting candidate experience
  • Support payroll inputs, benefits administration, and HR data reporting
  • Contribute to HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, policy updates, and process improvements
  • Partner with senior HR colleagues to support performance management and employee relations cases
  • Ensure HR systems are updated and data integrity is maintained

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-6 years of HR experience
  • Strong understanding of Dutch labour law and HR best practices
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop within HR

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals)
  • Exposure to HRIS systems and payroll processes
  • Experience supporting recruitment or talent coordination
