Location: South Germany, with regular travel to sites in Switzerland and Austria
Travel: 1-2 times per week, including overnight stays

This role supports a breakthrough implant technology designed for patients with drug-resistant focal epilepsies. The Field Clinical Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring clinical excellence across multiple sites, acting as a key interface between surgical teams, clinics, and commercial stakeholders. The position offers a unique blend of hands-on clinical support, training, and strategic territory development.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Room Support:
Prepare and deliver all necessary equipment and materials for procedures. Provide intraoperative support to surgeons, ensuring smooth and efficient execution. - Training:
Deliver comprehensive training to nurses and surgical teams on procedural workflows and product usage. - Post-Operative Support:
Guide clinics through post-op protocols, ensuring optimal use of the technology and patient outcomes. - Sales Support:
Support the acquisition of new clinical sites and contribute to territory expansion. Act as a bridge between clinical and commercial teams, helping translate clinical value into commercial success.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in neurology or neuromedical devices
- Operational mindset with a strong interest in transitioning into sales
- Direct, proactive, and comfortable with frequent travel
- Must be flexible and mobile - travel across Germany, Austria and Switzerland will be necessary
