Are you ready to shape the future of molecular diagnostics? I'm partnering with a world‑leading diagnostics organization that is expanding its Medical Affairs team in Barcelona. They are seeking an experienced Director / Associate Director of Medical Affairs to drive scientific strategy, lead clinical engagement, and support the successful launch and lifecycle management of cutting‑edge diagnostic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Medical Affairs strategy across molecular diagnostic and infectious disease portfolios
• Serve as the scientific expert, ensuring medical and clinical excellence in all external and internal engagements
• Strengthen relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and research partners
• Provide medical leadership for clinical evidence generation, publications, data dissemination, and regulatory support
• Partner cross‑functionally with R&D, Commercial, Clinical Affairs, and Market Access teams
• Guide and mentor a high‑performing medical team, fostering a culture of scientific rigor and collaboration

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or medical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent)
• Deep expertise in molecular diagnostics and infectious diseases
• Proven leadership experience within Medical Affairs in the diagnostics or related life sciences sector
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence across global teams
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, strategic, and highly innovative environment
