Account Manager
Location: Long Island, NY

EPM Scientific has partnered with a growing medical device company focused on surgical and infection prevention solutions to hire an Account Manager based on Long Island. This individual will be responsible for growing existing business, building relationships with key hospital and ASC stakeholders, and identifying opportunities to expand product utilization throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and retain existing accounts by expanding product utilization across the portfolio
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within current customer accounts
  • Present product solutions, generate quotes, and manage opportunities through implementation
  • Support product evaluations, conversions, and clinical implementations
  • Conduct product education and in-service training to drive adoption
  • Build relationships with surgeons, perioperative leadership, supply chain, materials management, and clinical staff
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute territory growth strategies
  • Provide product education and technical support to customers throughout the sales process
  • Maintain opportunity pipelines and account activity within Salesforce
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer service, and leadership teams
  • Support strategic account initiatives and customer agreements
  • Manage pricing discussions, product conversions, and customer inquiries
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience
  • 2+ years of medical device, healthcare, or operating room sales experience preferred
  • Experience calling on hospitals, health systems, and/or ambulatory surgery centers preferred
  • Knowledge of surgical products, infection prevention, endoscopy, or operating room environments is a plus
  • Strong business acumen and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to become fully credentialed for hospital and ASC access
  • Ability to travel throughout the territory as needed
