Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Quality to lead and oversee all aspects of quality management within our biotech organization. As the VP of Quality, you will drive a culture of quality excellence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards in our products and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the quality management function, aligning with the company's mission, goals, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy that encompasses quality assurance, quality control, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and regulatory affairs teams to ensure quality is embedded in all stages of product development and commercialization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality methodologies to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
- Champion a culture of quality awareness, accountability, and engagement at all levels of the company.
- Oversee the management of quality-related issues, deviations, and investigations, implementing appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quality management within the biotech or medical device industry.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams, including remote and cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining quality systems in a regulated environment.
