The person on this role will be supporting the Oncology Brand covering multiple products within the Oncology Business Unit. They will lead insight generation by using qualitative and quantitative market research methods and secondary analytics.
Responsibilities
- Able to support a deep understanding of business problems within the (bio/pharma) using data and analytics methods.
- Address any business questions that are vital for changing business needs
- Continuously take part in spearheading commercial strategy
- Be an influence on leadership to include key findings, insight, and intelligence into strategic planning
- Utilize research sources to impact crucial business decisions
- Turn disorganized business issues into policy and procedure to result in high quality, impactful achievements
- Create and Utilize Market Research programs to interpret findings into strategic recommendations to help support brand improvement/success
- Blend and consolidate data/research/analyses to impact insights
- Create a story out of the analyses that deepen customer understanding
- Stay current data and analytics trends; lead the execution of new techniques and best resulting practices
- Take other methods into consideration to collect customer data by being open to newly found innovations without going immediately to standard methods
- Maintain a good relationship with cross functional (Oncology) marketing teams to help explain business questions
- Create and manage relationships with important vendors
- Make sure Ad hoc projects meet policy and procedure of the companies' standings for timelines, quality, and budget
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, (if higher degree, # of years' experience can be less than 6 depending on degree)
- 6 years analytics and/or market research experience REQUIRED
- Pharma and/or Biotech Commercial experience required
- Forecasting experience: data analysis and modeling
- Oncology experience preferred
- Life Science consulting experience preferred
- Experience working with third party vendors
- Experience working with Tableau, Salesforce, PowerBI, etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Some travel required
