As the Principal Scientist in Formulation, you will play a pivotal role in leading a project team tasked with creating robust and stable formulations for oligonucleotide-based therapies. This will involve considering crucial factors such as chemical stability, target delivery, and therapeutic effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide a team of 4-7 formulation scientists and researchers, cultivating a collaborative and high-performance work atmosphere.
- Collaborate across functions with Research & Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing to delineate and execute product development strategies for oligonucleotide-based therapies.
- Work in conjunction with project managers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between formulation development and other phases of drug development.
- Oversee the financial aspects of formulation projects involving oligonucleotides, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource allocation while maintaining top-tier quality standards.
- Partner with CMC and Quality teams to bolster cGMP manufacturing.
Qualifications:
- Preferred 5+ years of experience in oligonucleotide formulation development.
- Preferred 6+ years of experience contributing to CMC efforts spanning Phase I to Phase III.
- Educational background: Ph.D. with 8+ years of industry experience.
