Medical Director

Title: Medical Director for Remote USA-based Medical Communications Agency

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a permanent, remote US-based Medical Director. Our client is a leading medical communications agency that specializes in various therapeutic areas. The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience working with agencies and possess exceptional skills in medical strategy development, management, publications, medical affairs & education.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years work experience within a medical communications agency
- Strong background across disease states and an eagerness to learn
- Advanced degree or equivalent qualification relevant to health sciences

Skills:
- Medical Strategy Development: The ideal candidate should be able to develop comprehensive strategies grounded on clients briefs through critical analysis of available data while ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Management: As a senior leader, must excel at multitasking by overseeing multiple projects simultaneously - assigning tasks appropriately where necessary - whilst maintaining timelines along every stage from conception till delivery.
- Publications: Experience creating high-quality scientific content such as abstracts, posters, manuscripts, reviews etc., which meets international publication standards would be considered valuable assets toward selection criteria.
- Medical Affairs & Education: Experience creating advisory boards, executive summaries, symposia, congress materials, MOA/MOD, infographics, etc.
