Title: Associate Scientist/ Scientist/ Principal Scientist, In Vitro Pharmacology
Location: San Diego, CA (on site)
Compensation: $105,000- $128,000
Responsibilities:
- Perform and design experimental troubleshooting and methods to support GPCR projects
- Develop new cell based and biochemical assays
- Perform routine assays to support identification and optimization of MOA
- Lead data analysis
- Contribute to patent and publication preparation
- Perform molecular biology techniques to understand MOA
Requirements
- Bachelors with 2 years of in vitro pharmacology experience, Masters degree with some relevant industry experience, or Ph.D. with some relevant industry experience
- Preferred industry experience in the following: primary cell culture, CNS, assay development, liquid handling automation, GCPRs, and in vitro assays
- qPCR is a must
- Comfort working with radioisotopes
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work and collaborate with a team
