A hands‑on opportunity to join a leading medical‑device manufacturer in South Germany, contributing directly to the production of high‑precision surgical instruments used in clinical environments. This role is central to ensuring that each instrument meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and medical‑device quality.

Your Role
You will take full responsibility for the end‑to‑end manufacturing of surgical instruments, working across a diverse product range. Your daily work will involve applying advanced manual and mechanical techniques to craft tools that must meet stringent medical‑device requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manufacturing complete surgical instruments such as ring cutters, rongeurs, and cutting forceps.
- Performing skilled mechanical processes including filing, bending, hard straightening, soldering, TIG welding, laser welding, grinding, polishing, glass‑bead blasting, and matt‑finishing.
- Independently managing production orders across multiple workflows according to specifications and priorities.
- Monitoring process results and adjusting equipment parameters within approved limits.
- Conducting in‑process inspections and ensuring accurate documentation of all production steps.
- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks as recorded in the logbook.
Key Requirements
You bring:
✅ A completed technical/vocational apprenticeship (e.g., Surgical Instrument Technician, Precision Mechanic, or similar).
✅ Relevant professional experience in surgical instrument manufacturing or precision metalworking, ideally within a highly regulated environment.
✅ Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed mechanical instructions.
✅ Basic IT skills.
✅ A reliable, independent working style, strong teamwork skills, and good German language abilities.
