Senior Manager, Patient Marketing

EPM Scientific is partnered with a leading biopharmaceutical organization seeking a Senior Manager, Patient Marketing Lead to support the launch and commercialization of innovative therapies within a rare disease portfolio. This is a high-visibility role reporting into Brand Leadership, responsible for shaping patient strategy and driving patient-facing marketing initiatives from development through execution.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of patient marketing, brand strategy, and launch experience and is excited by the opportunity to influence patient engagement, support commercialization efforts, and improve the experience of patients and caregivers navigating serious diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead patient marketing initiatives from strategy through execution across multiple channels
  • Support the development of patient strategy, positioning, messaging, and annual brand plans
  • Develop patient-facing launch materials, educational resources, and digital content
  • Partner with agencies and cross-functional stakeholders to execute integrated marketing campaigns
  • Manage promotional review processes for patient-facing materials
  • Collaborate with Digital, Market Access, Advocacy, and Field teams to enhance the patient journey
  • Leverage patient insights and market research to inform strategy and execution
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize patient engagement initiatives

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years, Master's degree with 6+ years, or PharmD with 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • 6+ years of patient and/or HCP marketing experience within pharma, biotech, or medical device organizations
  • Experience supporting product launches and commercialization initiatives
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including web, social, paid media, and CRM
  • Experience managing agencies, cross-functional stakeholders, and promotional review processes
  • Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills

Location:

  • Durham, NC (3 days per week onsite)
