Sales Specialist/Manager, Osaka

Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-performance systems for thermal analysis, rheology, microcalorimetry, and mechanical analysis

Responsibilities:

  • Achieving Sales Targets and Technical Sales Activities
  • Formulate and execute strategies to achieve the annual sales target (AOP).
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain analysis results to customers, supporting product adoption.
  • Maintain trust with existing customers and promote new customer acquisition.
  • Understand customer challenges through visits and propose optimal solutions.
  • Product Proposals and Market Strategy
  • Support customers' research and development and manufacturing processes using thermal analysis, rheometers, and microcalorimetry products.
  • Propose optimal analysis methods for measuring the properties of newly developed materials.
  • Collaborate with related teams (applications, service, marketing, customer operations) domestically and internationally.
  • Formulate differentiated territory strategies based on market trends and competitive analysis.
  • Manage customer information and deal progress using Salesforce.
  • Promote efficiency in the sales process and implement continuous improvements.
  • Lead the growth of the entire assigned area and perform tasks autonomously.
  • Contribute to the advancement of science and technology and the improvement of societal sustainability through customer success.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science and engineering, particularly in chemistry or material science (master's or doctoral degree preferred).
  • Experience using or selling thermal analysis, rheometers, or microcalorimetry products.
  • Ability to manage sales pipelines using CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • High-level sales communication skills in Japanese (English skills preferred).
  • Self-management ability, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Sales skills (e.g., SPIN, PSS, R3) and experience in inside sales are a plus.
