Responsibilities
- Drive market development activities across Germany and international markets within the electroplating and metal deposition sector.
- Manage and develop strategic relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and key accounts to support long-term business growth.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within electronics, surface technology, semiconductor, and advanced manufacturing markets.
- Lead international customer projects, coordinating product introductions, implementation activities, and technical support initiatives.
- Provide solution-oriented troubleshooting and technical consultation to customers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and technology scouting to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies, account development plans, and commercial initiatives.
- Organise and participate in technical workshops, roadshows, customer seminars, and international trade exhibitions.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, technical service, product management, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor market developments, customer requirements, and competitor activities to strengthen market positioning.
- Support strategic business planning and contribute to achieving regional and global sales objectives.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Surface Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience within the electronics industry, specialty materials, electroplating, surface treatment, coating technologies, or related sectors.
- Previous experience in technical sales, business development, key account management, or product management is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of electroplating processes, metal deposition technologies, surface finishing, precious metal applications, or electronic materials.
- Proven ability to manage commercial and technical discussions with customers at multiple organisational levels.
- Experience working with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and international customer accounts.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
- Fluent English language skills; German language skills would be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
