An established clinical research organization is seeking a Principal Investigator to provide medical leadership across a diverse portfolio of clinical trials.

This position offers the opportunity to remain actively involved in patient care and clinical research while working within a highly supported environment featuring experienced research staff, dedicated recruitment resources, established infrastructure, and strong sponsor relationships.

The successful candidate will oversee clinical trials, ensure participant safety, maintain protocol compliance, and collaborate closely with research teams and sponsors to deliver high-quality studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Principal Investigator for early phase industry-sponsored clinical trials
  • Ensure studies are conducted in accordance with ICH-GCP guidelines and protocol requirements
  • Oversee participant safety, informed consent, and study conduct
  • Review eligibility criteria and perform medical assessments
  • Evaluate adverse events and ongoing participant safety
  • Collaborate with sponsors, IRBs, monitors, and auditors
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to clinical research staff
  • Support overall study quality, regulatory compliance, and data integrity

Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified preferred but not required
  • Previous experience as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and clinical research regulations
  • Experience in Endocrinology, Diabetes, Obesity, Metabolic Disease, Thyroid Disease, Internal Medicine, or related therapeutic areas preferred
