Join a growing, established medical communications team supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients through the development of high-impact scientific content and strategic communications initiatives. This position combines scientific leadership, client partnership, mentoring, and business development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the scientific strategy and execution of medical communications programs across multiple promotional med ed/medical affairs accounts.
- Develop and review a variety of scientific deliverables such as advisory boards, training materials, symposia, videos, slide decks and more.
- Serve as a trusted scientific partner to clients, providing strategic guidance and contributing to long-term account growth.
- Mentor and support junior scientific team members through training, coaching, and quality review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
- Contribute to proposal development, pitch activities, and new business initiatives.
- Maintain current knowledge of therapeutic areas, clinical developments, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- PhD Required.
- 4+ years of experience within a medical communications, medical education, or healthcare communications environment.
- Experience working on advisory boards.
- Strong scientific writing, editing, and content development skills.
- Experience interacting directly with pharmaceutical or biotechnology clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
