Location: Based on-site in Kansas City, MO

EPM is partnered with a growing life sciences organization on the search for a Manager of Commercial Operations. This individual will play a critical role within the company's Analytical Services business, serving as the commercial lead for existing customer programs and acting as a key bridge between customers, laboratory operations, project management, business development, and finance. This person will help drive customer success, improve operational efficiency, and identify opportunities for continued business growth. This opportunity is based in Kansas City, MO and is 100% onsite.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Serve as the commercial lead for existing customer programs, ensuring alignment between customer expectations, contractual commitments, and laboratory execution.
  • Partner with Business Development, Project Management, Laboratory Operations, and Finance to drive customer success and business growth.
  • Lead demand forecasting, capacity planning, and portfolio management activities to maximize laboratory utilization and operational readiness.
  • Manage commercial agreements, contract renewals, and customer communications while identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts.
  • Leverage your understanding of analytical testing and laboratory operations to improve efficiency, turnaround times, and overall customer experience.

Required experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial operations, program management, account management, contracting, business operations, or related functions within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO, or CRO industry.
  • Experience supporting BioAnalytics, Analytical Services, laboratory operations, analytical development, quality control, or similar scientific environments.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, testing operations, capacity planning, forecasting, and operational performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across scientific, operational, and commercial teams in a customer-facing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
