Our client is a global company that provides innovative solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry, focusing on improving production processes for various therapies. They serve a global market with their advanced products and technologies. They are seeking an ambitious Key Accout Manager to join their team

Job Description:

Position Overview: The main responsibility will be to create and implement sales strategies to promote growth and profitability for high value products and solutions. These efforts will target both new and existing key customers in the biopharmaceutical sector in Japan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and profitability in the assigned territory.
  • Seek leads and manage a sales pipeline.
  • Promote and sell products, highlighting key differentiators.
  • Participate in market research, customer projects, and product launches.
  • Implement marketing plans and ensure compliance with sales processes.
  • Maintain key account relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide sales reporting and forecasting.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and advocate for customers.
  • Share product and market information internally.
  • Support sales collateral development and customer service.
  • Execute field sales activities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or higher in a biology/biochemistry or engineering
  • At least 8 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or life science industries.
  • Strong understanding of Chromatography.
  • Robust track record in sales and account management
  • Excellent analytical, forecasting, sales management, and organizational skills.
  • Highly motivated and professional
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience working with cross functional team
  • Flexible with work hours to accommodate various schedules.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce.com.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English
  • Willing to travel extensively within the country and occasionally globally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Upstream and Downstream processing is beneficial.
