Who We Are Looking For

You're a results-driven hospital sales professional with strong clinical credibility and experience navigating complex health systems. You're known for building trusted relationships, operating with integrity, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders to drive access and adoption.

You will serve as the Hospital Sales Specialist within an assigned territory, meeting all sales objectives for the company's promoted hospital products and upholding company standards and expectations.

Candidates must live within the Milwaukee, WI territory.

You'll Be Responsible For

Quarterly/Annual Sales Objectives & Promotion

  • Call on targeted customers and promote/sell company products in accordance with approved methods within your assigned geographic territory
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Conduct in-services and clinical discussions with physicians, pharmacists, and hospital staff
  • Navigate the hospital formulary process
  • Implement territory business plans aligned with regional and national goals
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with medical centers, pharmacies, physicians, medical staff, and other stakeholders
  • Develop influential customers as local advocates and champions
  • Schedule and conduct high-impact meetings with targeted customers and peers
  • Implement special programs to maximize sales opportunities, including speaker bureau programs, symposia, and convention displays
  • Continuously refine sales and retention strategies to optimize business outcomes
  • Partner with internal teams to meet customer needs and move the selling process forward

Territory Planning & Reporting

  • Develop, update, and adhere to territory business plans
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management
  • Prepare and present monthly sales reports, identifying trends, opportunities, and obstacles to new business growth

Development & Administration

  • Rapidly gain proficiency with products and sales tools, including visual aids, clinical reprints, technical data, and educational materials
  • Demonstrate a high degree of competence and product knowledge to a highly trained audience
  • Manage territory budget within assigned company guidelines
  • Respond in a timely manner to management and customer requests

You Will Need to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year accredited university
  • Two years of pharmaceutical industry sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills
  • Proven organizational and territory management skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in presenting scientific information using visual aids, clinical reprints, and technical data
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to successfully complete new hire training and pass product knowledge tests
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision in a highly dynamic environment
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Thorough knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and hospital credentialing processes
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary hospital credentials, including successful completion of required drug testing

Preferred Experience

  • Specialty pharmaceutical sales experience

Location

  • Field-Based / Remote
  • Milwaukee, WI territory
  • Up to 75% travel as necessary to meet job requirements
  • Candidates should live in or near the assigned territory

Compensation

Base Salary: $135,540-$155,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The overall compensation package may also include performance-based incentives and additional benefits.
