Head of Sales APAC

Our client is a leading global provider of life sciences and biopharmaceutical research solutions, supporting innovation across drug discovery, development, and commercialization. They are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Sales, Asia Pacific to lead regional business growth, strengthen customer relationships, and expand market presence across key territories.

Responsibilities

  • Drive regional sales performance and achieve agreed revenue targets across Asia Pacific markets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders to maximize business opportunities.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new sales leads while increasing penetration within existing accounts.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand organizational needs, market developments, competitive activities, and product usage trends.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate sales pipeline reports, forecasts, and business updates for management.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver effective customer solutions and support marketing initiatives, including events, promotions, and exhibitions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services to provide professional consultation and technical support to customers.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance market visibility and business relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience within the biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences reagent industry.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with experience in negotiation and closing sales opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the region to meet customers and drive business growth.
