GMP Ops Support
We are currently seeking an experienced Deviation Investigator to join a growing biotech manufacturing site in Visp, Switzerland. This is a contract position through November 2025, with the potential for extension based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead deviation investigations and ensure thorough root cause analysis and effective CAPAs
Work collaboratively with Quality to meet GMP compliance standards and ensure that investigations support batch release in line with regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the readiness of batch documentation for Swissmedic inspection.
Manage multiple deviations simultaneously while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
Actively engage with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure timely closure of investigations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
3+ years of experience working in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments, with a solid understanding of deviation management and CAPA processes.
Strong background in biotech/pharma manufacturing, preferably with experience in mammalian cell culture or large-scale bioprocessing.
Proficient in TrackWise and well-versed in root cause analysis (RCA) tools.
Ability to interpret incomplete or unclear data and drive investigations to conclusion.
Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and collaborating across departments to meet manufacturing and regulatory goals.
A quality mindset combined with a pragmatic understanding of manufacturing operations, including balancing compliance with operational priorities like safety, cost, and on-time performance.
Systems Knowledge:
Experience with TrackWise is a must.
Familiarity with DeltaV, Syncade, or MES/automation tools would be an advantage, although not mandatory
