Clinical Sales Specialist
EPM is currently partnered with an industry leading molecular diagnostic company who is seeking a Business Development Manager located remote in the US near a major airport.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with commercial and scientific teams to expand business into new accounts
- Direct interaction with prospective customers to present upon company's capabilities
- Proposing target customers, target applications, target geographies to pursue in conjunction with strategic plan objectives to achieve sustainable long-term growth
- Be able to identify market changes and communicate back to business leaders
- Ability to understand and interpret customer requirements in the fields of infectious disease diagnostics and molecular diagnostics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences; preferably in Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Molecular Biology.
- 3+ years' experience preferred in Sales, Marketing, or Business/Market Development
- 2+ years' experience preferred in a Life Sciences laboratory or clinical diagnostics operation
- Demonstrate a knowledge of sales techniques using effective questioning and objection handling
- Able to handle up to 50% domestic and/or international travel
- Desirable attributes: strategic commercial mindset, natural project manager, confident communicator, detail oriented, curious, and creative, problem solver, quick learner, adaptable
This role is eligible for commission based on candidate's performance.
