EPM is partnering with a growing healthcare media and engagement organization that works with pharmaceutical and life sciences companies to connect with healthcare professionals through educational, content, and digital engagement solutions. Due to continued growth, the organization is seeking a Business Development Associate to support new business development, client engagement, and account growth initiatives.

This is an opportunity to combine business development, client strategy, and healthcare marketing expertise in a collaborative environment. The Business Development Associate will help identify new opportunities, build client relationships, and support the development of strategic HCP engagement solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of clients' therapeutic areas, business objectives, and commercial priorities.
  • Support prospecting efforts and new business opportunities through account research and outreach.
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within target accounts.
  • Assist in proposal development, presentations, and sales materials.
  • Support the sales process from opportunity identification through contract execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a strong client experience.
  • Gather and share market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence.
  • Analyze campaign performance and client data to support strategic recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.

Key Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, pharmaceutical advertising, medical communications, healthcare media, life sciences, or a related client-facing environment.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical commercial, brand, media, and HCP engagement strategies.
  • Experience working with healthcare media agencies, pharmaceutical clients, or life sciences stakeholders is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to support business development and client relationship management activities.
  • Strong PowerPoint, presentation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel within the United States as needed.
