What You'll Work On
You will be part of a small, multidisciplinary team responsible for:
- Improving and maintaining Windows‑based software running on laboratory instruments
- Updating and maintaining Windows system images and PC configurations
- Implementing cybersecurity‑related updates and hardening existing platforms
- Delivering bug fixes, small feature enhancements, and quality improvements
- Contributing to DevOps pipelines, build processes, and release activities
- Supporting documentation, compliance tasks, and "light" Scrum Master duties as needed
Must‑Have Skills
- Strong C# and .NET Framework development experience
- Solid debugging skills for Windows desktop applications
- Ability to work with and troubleshoot physical hardware devices on site (4 days/week minimum)
Beneficial Skills
(Not required, but very helpful)
- Experience (or strong interest) in Windows image creation and Windows PC configuration
- Understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, especially Azure Pipelines
- Working knowledge of SQL databases
- Comfortable performing non‑development tasks such as documentation, test coordination, or light Scrum facilitation
