Senior Requirements Engineer
EPM Scientific is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Requirements Engineer to support one of our leading clients in the medical device sector on a contract basis
Key responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive requirements engineering structure for a device, while also aligning high-level requirements across multiple systems.
- Lead the definition of user needs and system-level requirements for a connected ecosystem
- Apply a system-of-systems methodology to enable scalable, modular solutions across the hospital segment
- Guide the team in linking risk analysis, hazard identification, and mitigation strategies with critical-to-quality and critical-to-function elements.
- Drive a focused approach to quality and risk reduction, enabling faster de-risking and development cycles.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in requirements engineering within the medical device industry, particularly with connected systems and platform-based architectures.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and quality frameworks for Class IIa/IIb medical devices, including Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
- Deep familiarity with risk management, and hazard mitigation strategies.
- Demonstrated success working in agile environments, ideally in cross-functional and international teams.
