Scientist
We are currently seeking a Scientist - Phys-Chem QC to join a dynamic team in Basel. This opportunity to contribute to the release and stability testing of drug products in a cutting-edge GMP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform batch release and stability testing for drug products
- Independently execute phys-chem assays (identity, purity, content) for biologics
- Conduct routine lab tasks (e.g., mobile phase prep, pH meter calibration)
- Troubleshoot lab equipment and propose mitigation strategies
- Maintain lab readiness and support audits
- Draft and update instrument SOPs
- Contribute to lab optimization and process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- EFZ, HF, CTA, BTA, PTA, BSc, or MSc in a relevant field
- 5+ years in analytical QC within pharma or chemical industry
- Strong experience with Empower 3.7 (Power User level)
- Solid knowledge of cGMP and phys-chem analytics
- Skilled in scientific documentation and result interpretation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
