About the Role

Technical Sales Engineer (M/F)
Specialty Chemicals Industry
Location: Paris, Lyon or Home Office

We are a leading international distribution group operating across American, European, and Asian markets, with annual revenues of CHF 11 billion. Our French subsidiary (62 employees, €78 million turnover), based near Lyon in Miribel, is a key player in the distribution of ingredients and specialty chemicals in the French market.

To support our growth, we are looking for a passionate, business-development-oriented Technical Sales Engineer (M/F) for a full-time permanent position.

The role is preferably based in Paris or Lyon, with the option for home office. The portfolio covers the entire French territory.


Your Responsibilities

As part of the Specialty Chemicals Industry business line, your mission will include:

  • Developing and growing your client portfolio through regular visits to prospects and partners.
  • Leading strategic negotiations with suppliers and clients to maximize profitability.
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities aligned with our growth strategy.
  • Exploring and winning new markets in France through regular travel.

Your Profile

  • Higher education in science, ideally chemistry.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in sales, preferably in chemical raw materials.
  • Previous CASE sales experince.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) - the group's working language.
  • Strong business development mindset: autonomy, pragmatism, and proactivity are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong negotiation abilities to build lasting partnerships.
